VA58 is California’s COVID-19 vaccination campaign that proactively reaches communities suffering from the greatest social and health inequities. They Launched in December 2020 and offered me a grant to merge mindful art practices with promotion of the COVID-19 vaccine. After a series of lessons that focused around the art of the Mandala, the program culminated with an art exhibit, and each artwork was accompanied with an artist statement as to how access to the Vaccine impacted their life.
