Glen Park Elementary:
Glen Park School is a K-5 SFUSD school that currently does not have an art teacher, so I have stepped in to bring art to the classrooms. I have lead SEL based assignments that focus on issues such as empathy, embracing emotions, and regulating stress, while teaching the students about art elements, techniques and significant names in art history.
GLIDE Organization:
GLIDE provides life saving services for members of the Tenderloin community who are experiencing homelessness and marginalization. Before the pandemic, I provided community members with paint and clay and offered assistance as they delved into various projects, such as abstract painting and mask making. I have since returned to GLIDE, teaching drawing, sketching, and journaling to the community.
